In short:

Andrew Abdo does not appear to be set to take over the role as Australian Open boss, as he prepares to become Tennis Australia’s new CEO.

Outgoing Tennis Australia CEO, and Australian Open boss, Craig Tiley has done both roles since 2013.

What’s next?

Abdo will begin his role with TA on August 3 after finishing up as CEO of the NRL.
